{West Chester Lifestyle Newborn Photographer}
It was a chilly St. Patrick’s Day a few days after a random spring snow storm. I was able to travel down to West Chester to work with this new family of three. First, let me just say that when I pulled up to their house, I knew it was going to be an amazing session. It was nice and sunny out which is always helpful when shooting inside. Then, to step inside, their house was straight out of a magazine. And the crazy part is, Mom decorated everything herself. She clearly has an eye for decorating and is amazing at! I wanted to hire her to come back to my house to help me decorate my own home. Now let me just say that yes….it does help to have an amazing home to do a lifestyle session in. But in the end, it doesn’t matter all that much. I like to try to find the best light and to make my images focus on the people and the connections rather than your surrounding. So if you are thinking about scheduling a lifestyle session, please don’t be discouraged if your home doesn’t look like Pottery Barn inside. Trust me. The end result will still be beautiful!
Now back to this session, not only is their house amazing, the couple was too. Mom and Dad were both such genuinely nice people. They waited a long time for this day to welcome a baby into their home. You could see that they appreciated every single moment that comes with the new parent territory….even the difficult stuff. They handled everything like a pro and that it was such a joy to be doing it.
To top everything off, their handsome little man had the best hair. It was so thick and dark. It was long enough that they were able to get a little part in his hair! It’s not often that you see a part in a new baby’s hair! I loved it!
Here are my favorites from the session:
